Today we started steroids to get a jump start on maturing little man’s lungs. I will get one more dose tomorrow. The doctor said that if I make it to 32 weeks I’ll get two more doses. The shots will start being the most effective after 48 hours. Of course, we still want him in there as long as possible! We have had a consult with the NICU team so I think everyone is expecting him to arrive early. We REALLY want to make it to 28 weeks. That’s 32 days away!
