We met another goal today! We made it to 24 weeks! We spent all of last night on the monitor watching his heart rate which means I didn’t sleep a wink. This poor baby hated the monitor! He wouldn’t stop kicking it and rolling away from it. They saw one dip while they were monitoring yesterday so they watched it all night and most of today. Everything looks great and it’s totally normal for babies to have dips in their heart rate at this age. Of course, most babies at this age aren’t being monitored in the hospital so doctors don’t have a great baseline to go off of. Right now they are being VERY cautious and continuing to watch him throughout the day. Hopefully tomorrow will be a little more peaceful. Nothing else is happening around here. I decided today that I would take up knitting to keep my mind and hands occupied. Here’s to hoping Austin picked up the right stuff at Hobby Lobby today! Thank you for the continued prayers!
Great news! He looks like a handsome little fella! Continued prayers for all of you!
